hi Michael :)
thanks for you kind comments.. i know what you mean.. i find that lack on seasonalty here very hard.. people often have the misconception that in england it's always cold and rainy but in truth, in the southern half where i lived even though it can sometimes be unseasonably chilly or wet in the summer.. mostly we had 4 very distinct and non extreme seasons.. never to hot for too long in the summer and barely reaching below freezing point for very long in winter.. and best of all the longest seasons were spring and autumn wich were such a delight to behold... i can remember the spring bulbs blooming already in january and this lasted until june.. so much better than the 2 or so weeks between the freezing cold and the steamy heat that seems to pass for spring here! i miss that so much.. can't wait for a chance of a new horizon! :-)
hope you'll get a chance for a nice break too! i have relatives in houston and those summers sound pretty scary.. ihih
thanks again Michael ^_^
