hello biance!

first of all, let me thank you for the comment :)

i agree with you that sometimes, treklens members leave their comments on photos which, to us, are 'ordinary' or as you say 'tactless'... but at the same time, i hold that its not in the 'number' of comments one receives, rather, its the comment itself that matters... whether one, two or three...

i always add a line at the end of my photo notes, "lets see what u think of this one"... for me, even one single comment is as precious as ten more, your comments means a lot to me, with every comment, a smile comes to my face :)

i guess this is the primary reason why i love treklens (despite all the flaws you have mentioned) its not that bad a website... people from different regions, different backgrounds have strikingly different tastes... different views... and therefore, their response to our photos is quite justified... some people love macro photography (which is actually photomacrography) but i dont like it... some people love photos of flowers, i dont.. i'd rather prefer a photo taken in a motor workshop with the mechanics, and the greasy hands, faces etc...

remember the photo 'sea of emptiness'?? it was so poorly received on other websites, but here, it was the opposite :)

therefore, with all my philosophical jargon about comments and photos, i thank u again for appreciating my work :) your input, whether sweet or harsh, helps me in learning more and in improving my photographic skills :)

have a great day :) smile now :)
