East Greenland was a wonderful experience - I can still remember lots about it even although I was there 37 years ago. In July, when I was there, the sun never sets. In the summer, it is mainly sunny and there is very little wind so it is quite comfortable. However, in the winter it must be terrible - no light and desperately cold!
