I am going to have a look at your pictures soon - I read your "Intro" and, like yourself, I try to reply to as many critiques/comments as possible. I feel that makes this site so much more interesting. Are you on TrekEarth and TrekNature too?
The POV was because we were in a little wooden dinghy, pretty much well out into the fjord - at this point I think the fjord was a few miles wide - in the picture we're looking "up" the fjord in a north-westerly direction and looking at its north side: the main breadth of the fjord was on our left and Scoresby Sund was well behind us.
