Thanks for your visit and your comment! I don't know whether the toys had been abandoned in a hurry. This picture was taken in the courtyard of the public library, where the children can play while their parents choose a book or drink a cup of coffee in the cafetaria. The composition and the mood of these toys lying around seemed very suggestive to me...
