Yes, stitching photos could be very time consuming but also fun! :)
The other day I just found a neat little software called Panorama Factory...
The demo version can be downloaded from the net and can tell you it could save you a lot of time work... It does stitch pretty well... however you need to fine tune it anyhow! :)
