as for the movie its a 60s classical/ musical movie starring the lovely Julie Andrews its about the dilemma of an Ausrian family during WWII and their escape to a near by country away from hitlar's authoriy who were trying to force the man of the house to service in the german army, very sad story though its a real one unfourtunatly but i love every bit of the movie as it shows the real beauty of Austria and the Alps :) try renting the movie it worth every min, enjoy :D |
