Hello Markus, you did not know, but you made my day with your comment! I liked Fribourg and Switzerland so much... It is such a beautiful country, just a gorgeous one. I was very pleased to get a note right from there and also from a town that I liked much.
I spent a very lovely day in Fribourg just about a month ago (can't believe already a month has passed!), walking along the tourist route in Altstadt and near the river, where a swan came to greet me... It was very relaxing after crazy New York City and that was exactly what I used to dream about here, before my trip! I also met an American there and, I believe, saw a place from the bridge, that was depicted on a painting - I have to look for one, I do not remember the name and the author, unfortunately, but he was probably Russian.
The church that I took a photo of, as far as I remember, was the back part of Cathedrale St. Nicolas, taken from rue des Epouses near place Notre Dame (approximately). Maybe I am mistaken, can't say for sure, but it was definitely near that place. (I have a map in front of me, please do not think I know Fribourg THAT well! :))
