Hello Rob - first of all, I got a kick out of the latest exchanges going back and forth. Myself, I pay such things little heed. I think John can take care of himself pretty good.
For my colors: it's partially the altitude, but also the auto setting on the camera: As you notice there is some really bright white rock in the fg, the lens takes the reading from it and the very bright sky, while shooting with the sun over my left shoulder. You get similar results, lets say in Greece or Morocco, with white buildings reflecting the sunlight, and the sky turns a deep blue (example). However, I have to admit that I had set my camera's saturation to +2 just before that time, when I shot pictures of our parade and fair. PP work was mostly done to cut down the glare from the rock.
Cheers and thanks for dropping by. I was a bit preoccupied lately, so was away for over a week or so. Should be back within the next few days picking up the pace. Always nice to hear from you.
