Hey, Rew, nice to hear from you again. I see you're still at it. I'll have to take some time to look over your work from the past months. I'm sure it's getting better and better as you tend to be one of the most diligent and focused (no pun intended) of photographers on this site.
Well, I caused a minor stir over at TE with my dog photo comments. I opened up a forum thread and plenty of people gave me an earful. The truth is, I often find myself bumping up agains these categories -- not just here, but in life in general -- so I guess it's just natural. Anyway, it's all pretty stilly in the end.
Not sure why I stopped posting here. I had stopped on both sites. Felt I was spending too much time thinking about it. It was becoming a bit obsessive. But maybe I'll start posting again here once in awhile. While overall I find the TE environment more stimulating, I regret not being able to post the portraits and less conventional type of stuff.
Anyway, thanks again for the crit. For the record, I'm not a huge dog fan either. And this one looked about to leap out of the window and pounce on me. But that's why I thought it was an interesting shot. A big dog in a black van glowering at me with an almost human kind of menace.
Take care.
