"participate in wedding" .. folks with autism are exceedingly literal. Symptoms very widely from person to person but tactile defensiveness is often a major issue .. Over and over again I have seen situations where the person is all aggressive, anxiety filled, and over stimmed .. and the caregiver just can't help themselves .. the feel they must "do something" and all their actions just end up escalating the situation even more ..
