Hi. Yes, perspective renderings were difficult, laborious but fun to do and were even profitable. I remember the great Helmuth Jacobi charged around $ 3000.- for one, he was famous and did one for our firm back in the 60's.
The Chinese now do it over the internet for less than $ 200.-
