By the way, we meet New Year on 1st of January and it is the most favorite holiday in Russia. We have winter holidays this season from 30th of December till 8th of January. Today, on 7th of January which started in Moscow 42 min ago, we celebrate Orthodox Christmas and now I hear from my apartment firework salvos :-)
