I thought the meaning of manual focus is rotating the focus ring, but in fact, this one is purely manual, by controlling the distance betwee the object and the camera, so you need to forward and backward the camera for focusing . . thats why it is suggested to have focusing rail and angle C view finder. I am ordering focusing rail, which is also not easy to get in my country.

Without it, a bit hassle . . I have macro speed light MT 24, there is also macro ring speed light MT 14 . .
I like this lens after several tries, and I can see something small that never seen before . .
