Hi Sandy,
I really like my 400D and find that it performs as well as I might expect...but then I'm relatively new to such expectations:) It's my performance that is still in need of upgrade! I had never used manual settings until I got this camera, so most of the time I think the camera does a fine job for the guesswork I put it through. On the other hand, I can say that I am not as pleased with my 70-300mm lens (not as clear as the 17-85mm) but again am not sure whether that is an issue with the lens or with me. (Of course, that has nothing to do with the creamery conditions you asked about...just a general comment.) Actually, in the cramped and moving tour conditions, I was almost wishing I had my small point-and-shoot with me, but then that would have been the easy solution and I wouldn't have learned from it.

How about you? Are you happy with your 400D? Do you find it better in some conditions than in others?

Thanks for your interest in my weird shots and your friendly critiques. I always appreciate your reactions and comments.
