yeah, I just added a some more contrast. :) I can take manual photos only because I have a dSLR. It is a trial and error thing. I take a few and see if they are over exposed or underexposed. but my goal is to get it good enough so that it is close the first time.
I only use the manual mode when I have time to kill or if the lighting is tricky and dark and I want to keep it this way. Most of the time I don't use manual though. :)
