I am pleased that you like this one. Not really that difficult with modern auto-focus - it usually gets it right! In fact, I'd taken a whole series of pictures by myself of my own eye - I could centre the frame on my pupil by looking into the lens and "centreing" my eye in it (if you see what I mean) and then pressing the remote release. I tried various pictures, some with me looking directly into the lens and others with me looking a bit to one side just before firing the shutter. They worked but my eyes are such a muddy grey (and they also have an arcus senilis!) that I thought another subject might be better!
