Indeed the focus is more on the hand. To be honest I did not pay attention to it when I took the shot . I do not know, if it was my eye or because he moved back when he was singing. I do not remember.
Wshen I shoot, to save my batteries, I do not use the LCD screen. I put my eye on my visor, i.e I look above my glasses, therefore , I am already seeing often out of focus ). Which makes it even more difficult to get a sharp focus. A slower shutter speed might have corrected this narrow DOF. But I passed all evening changing my settings in the dark( LOL !).By the time I changed my settings , the lighting set up often changed (?$*$/& ) . LOL !
The result , I threw away most of my shots. I am glad we are now in the digital era (LOL !)
It would have cost me a fortune in prints.
