Hi Tracy,
I was getting some conflicting views that I should have composed the image so that the yellow stamen was against the greeen foliage for contrast. But my aim in this capture was to concentrate on the gradual pink colour to its brilliant climax in the center, which I would have lost in a more lateral POV. Thanks for your remarks, they were very helpful!
