I think I was trying to tell a different story here. I wanted to exemplify the gradual pink colour to its central brilliant climax. A lateral POV to put the stamen against the foliage would have lost this. But given your suggestion, possibly I could have taken another shot to make the yellow stamen stand out and had another nice photo. Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated!
