Yes, I agree and I struggled with the centering issue. I tried cropping a little more and I put the subject more lower left... and that looked OK. But, when I did that, I lost the shape of the leaf coming from the left and that seemed to be a very important part of the image to me and took away from it. So I decided to leave the butterfly a little more centered hoping that the image would still be interesting, since the leaf was coming from the left diagonal.
