Hi Jan my friend ,
In short Jan , you disagree with the inclusion of the hikers in the shot . My idea here was to show vastness ( as wide an angle as my camera allowed me to show that ) and most important scale and the relation with danger that hikers ( i did , their presence shows just that ) face up when using the trails in that bizarre and smoking environment ( truly is a dangerous place to walk about , signs are there to advise hikers not to stray off trails ---it is an active volcano caldera lets not forget this ) , frankly Jan i think without the persons it is simply a plain picture, besides think of the red jackets worn by two of them as adding a little bit of color to this otherwise somber looking place . You admit that it is quite a landscape ,true ... I still believe it is spectacular' but ' with the folks in it ...No filtering them out from me Jan ...lolol ...Thank you for honest critique Jan and feel free to disagree ( i am quoting Eric Sven here ! ) and am looking forward to your commenting anytime you feel like ,
