It is a challenging hike, especially since the loose cinders that you have to scale up the side don't make it any easier, so if you go again, don't wait too long. It doesn't get any easier as you get older, but the view is spectacular when you get up there.
Year ago I took a 360 panoramaic photo which a friend of mine then converted to a moving photo which melded all of those photos together. It blew my mind that he was able to do that and that was several years ago. I could forward you the email message with its attachment if you wanted to see it, but you would have to send me your email address if you feel comfortable doing so.
