THANKS A LOT for the numerous and useful critiques you have done recently on my photos, but here I have to disagree about the way you see the framing I would have better done instead of this one...

Mark wrote : "I love the fact that the only two non architectural elements to the picture are the man, who exudes a melancholy air, and the detail of a glamourous poster on the right of the frame" (and I was glad he noticed that)

this glamourous poster is essential in my composition. it's not said in the photographer's note, surely because I was in the hurry when I uploaded that post, but I have to tell it now:
my interpretation, and the intention with this framing including this glamourous poster, is that the man is sad, very sad, I don't think he's homeless or something like that, but he seemed to have a deep problem, and I imagined that it was maybe a problem with his beloved, maybe the story is over, maybe the story is BEHIND him.

well this is still a snap shot, and it may be a combination of luck and imagination, but this is why the framing should NOT be changed, cropped... because my intention IS to leave it with this poster showing the couple behind this lonely man.

BTW this mood could justify the use of the B&W media !

cheers
