Hi, Nikos. Thank you for the nice comment! I can see from your portfolio that you like to play with abstract shapes and lines in your photos, not just making pictures of "scenes". I like to do that too, especially with architecture at night. It was the blocks of color and gradations of illumination that attracted my eye to this composition.
I am actually glad that the "barber poles" are not turned on. I think they would call too much attention to themselves and change the mood of the photo. But then, I can remember the setting: the quiet, nearly empty streets of late-night Hamamatsu.
