Hi, Thank you for your wonderful note on my image. I just wanted to answer your question. Yes the table was a glass top table backlit by a window, so there were no shadows or silouette cast by the tiny vase. The plant was in the vase backlit with the pergamen textured paper in front of it. The plant was almost touching the paper, hence the sharp defined edges. This was actually shot for a themed competition which was "Shadows". It's one of my favourite creations.
