| Bill, thank you so much for your comment on this photo. The reason I chose such a wide open aperture was to gain the fastest shutter speed possible so I could stop the motion of the water as much as possible thereby gaining almost a mirror effect. If the shutter speed had been longer, which would have been necessary at f/9 or f/10 the water image would have been more blurred than it is here. Also, at the infinity setting of the lens, it doesn't really matter what f/stop you use. Everything will be pretty much in focus as it is here, especially the distant skyline.
