Jan, thank you so much for viewing. I feel honored that you took time to critique this photo after seeing your extensive gallery of excellent photographs here on TLens. The reason I chose this composition, rather than getting closer to the water, was to keep the lamp post, trees, and sitting bench, in the foreground of the frame. I had closer shots, but I liked this one best. I will be posting more photos of the Louisville skyline as I update my gallery that will show exactly what you wanted. I hope. This first photo was only an introduction to a small part of the history of the Ohio River, Louisville, and the surrounding southern Indiana territory.
