Hi Trudy,
It's a rather long story how this falcon came into my possession.
It was brought to Malta by an American about three years ago who happen to be my neighbour. I was rather afraid of this creature seeing it eathing alive chicks but as time passed by I used to touch it on the head and he showed me that he accepted me as his friend. Then we made friends, whenever I visited my neighbour he used to fly on my shoulders and stayed for a long time cuddle it.
Now he's my best friend and he waits for me to feed him, wash him and etc etc. He needs a lot of attention and nature made him a bit of a dominant bird.
That's the story in brief how "Gerry" (the falcon's name) and me became friends.
Thanks for your interest and support.
