My Daddy "indoctrinated" us girls that we could be whatever we wanted. He never treated us like helpless girls either. We mowed yards (I still do, mine and his) we changed oil in the cars, we roof houses. And most of all, we had the meanest football team going in the neighborhood. We beat the boys with regularity! He got out in the street everyday and we played some kind of sports.
He is very patient, very strong minded...with an 8th grade education, he had his own business until he recently retired.
