You are absolutely correct, sir. The photo is a bit compressed and needs a little more headroom. I also recognized the crop of his hand (I wish I had used a smaller aperture to get the finger in focus, too). As I said in my note, this was one of the first shots I took with a new camera and I'm still getting used to the viewfinder coverage.
Believe me, I'll get plenty of chances to reshoot. They might not last even as long as this one, but they'll be there.
