A small selection from a group of relatively long exposures carried out at Regents Canal in the Camden town area of London, Nov 2007.
Being relatively dark at the time, most from this group (except where indicated) were exposed for at least 40 seconds.
The water is very calm this evening, due to a very mild breeze. I was glad to be able to further exploit that with the use of long exposures :-)

Night exposures of Bridges across the Thames within the M25 (i.e starting from Egham-Runnymede bridge, just south of Heathrow to QEII Bridge in Dartford, Kent). There are 38 bridges, including rail & pedestrian crossings.

At night great cities come alive in a symphony of lights, colour and several attributes that yearn to be captured through some art form.
This probably explains my interest in shots like these.
