Out of the blue I decided to visit Peru. And even though the circumstances did not permit me to visit its major tourist attraction (Machu Picchu), I saw a number of other very interesting places, enjoyed the local cuisine and generally had a fantastic trip. Please feel free to check on my pictures' set. (9 photos)

It is the theme of this year Festival en Chanson of Petite-Vallee.
Last year we missed de 25th anniversary edition as we ran out of time to attend. This year we did not miss the opportunity. It was not a treklens meeting despite we were actually going to visit specifically Annie & Ghyslain ( beger ). Since we met on TL and coincidences brought us together, we really enjoy every moment spent all four together.... (full story) (16 photos)

Playing hookey from work for a couple of hours with a coworker landed me at Brookside Gardens' "Wings of Fancy" Live Butterfly Exhibit for a photo shoot. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the butterflies as well as the flowers. The display included butterflies from North America, Asia, and Costa Rica. (4 photos)

My great adventure, a six-day canoe trip into the wilds of northeastern Minnesota. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) is a million-plus acres of pristine forests, lakes and rivers; a land rich with the history of the voyageurs, the native Ojibwe, and their Algonquin-speaking distant relatives. Canoe and portage is the only method of travel, and man is tested to his limits against the timeless power of Nature.... (full story) (3 photos)

This trip to London was connected with my work, so I did not have much time to go sightseeing, and when I did have it, I had the best example of a stereotypical English weather. But I enjoyed my visit to the Aquarium very much, and most of my favourite pictures are from there. So far, there has been few of them uploaded, but more will come in the future.
Thank you for peeking. (2 photos)
