We traveled to Tuscany, Venice, and Lombardy. I was trying to combine two of my favorite hobbies... traveling and photography. It is a bit more than a challenge than it seems, because the primary purpose was vacation with the kids, so it takes a bit of time away to shoot. (Mostly that just hurries the shots, but it also limited most of my photographic time to mid-day, where the summer sun is least dramatic and the most harsh). (17 photos)

Here's my trip to Yellowstone in May 2006. Mid-May was a great time in the park, the park was relatively uncrowded, and the animals weren't used to seeing people. I was also lucky enough to catch some nice warm weather! (12 photos)

Here are some old photos from a trip to Europe in 1985. This was my first trip to Europe and I was starting to enjoy taking pictures. I had always shot negative film, but for some reason I decided to shoot slides on the trip. Unfortunately, many of the images have degraded quite a bit in the last 20 years.
