Old Time Classic Bride (2)
dwterry Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Note Writer [C: 56 W: 0 N: 204] (2453)
The post processing on this picture of my daughter (see the other bridal images I've uploaded as well) was meant to look like an old style "classic" photo. I was thinking the pose, which already felt "classic" was complemented by this style of processing.

My original thought was to convert to black and white, add grain and then give it a sepia tone. But after playing with it, I kind of liked keeping some of the original color in the image - making it look more like a "faded color image" than a complete b&w image.

Anyway, please let me know if you agree or not. Does the PP work work this image?

NOTE: I've uploaded the ORIGINAL un-touched image into the workshop in case anyone else might have different ideas for post processing to try out. Thanks in advance!

I've slightly desaturated the image. I adjusted the light/contrast just adding it slightly. Otherwise it's a lovely image as it is.

The Original Un-touched Image

This is the original un-touched image. I'm posting it here in the workshop in case anyone wants to suggest other post processing techniques they might have in mind.
