Namibia is a beautifull country full of photo opportunities. Near the coatsal town of Luderitz this train track has finally succumbed to the dessert.
One day when I am big and clever (like so many TLsers, I will do some post processing and add a train bursting out of the sand!?
Let me know what you think.

Hi Barry,

This Workshop slightly differs from the other ones ;-)

So may your dream come true.
This is really a fun post rather than masterpiece.

Here I worked with layers. 3 layers in total.
One was with your original photo.
Removed the sky, and coloured it with this slight blueish colour.

2nd layer was the train which I've found somewhere on the net. Cropped it out so it matches the image. Pasted using the vanishing filter, and adjusted it so it mathced the rail tracks is width.

Final layer was the smoke which came from yet another train, had to use stamp clone to add some more smoke around, i.e. to make it larger so it fits train's large dimentions.

Final step were some touches with stamp cloning around the train.

Framed at the end.
Hope you like it.
Tom

i took a look one again at my previous photo pp which i made and i realized that sky is useful to realize what's going on here

so i've just coloured sky becouse grey seems to be not suitable for such vivivd colours of sand
