I was visiting Clarence Town,a small village north east of Newcastle( a mining and industrial city). Cockatoos were swarming every where. The cockatoo is a noisy prolific bird.Tame (domesticated)birds can be taught to talk.
They are a nuisance and can destroy timber railings and other fittings around a house. They are noted for their yellow crest and gleaming white feathers.
These 2 birds sat on branches of a dead eucalypt and sceeched away.
The photo has been cropped and sharpened.
