Rebuild/Redesign/ReColor

Hi Garth,

I'm also joining the WS-challenge.
I thought your photo had a very tight crop so I decided to place the scene in a new setup.

What did I do:
- PhotoShop CS2
- with clone, copy and many layers rebuilded the scene
- wanted the summer atmosphere so recolored the photo with variuous transparant color layers
- removed areas with repeating obvious elements
- reframed en resized..
- and sat back and enjoyed the view

I hope you like this version.
Sure looks like a great place to visit -with- your camera.

See you again, Richard

Very fun workshop! There is already so much to work with. Here is what I did

- Increase contrast
- Sharpen (a lot)
- Crop
- Rotate 90 degrees
- Mirror effect
- Use healing brush to remove some symmetry
- Sepia effect
- Frame

- Reshape filter ball (or what even it may be)
- Warm filter
- USM
- Selective lighting

That's it.

Lightened, added contrast. Cropped added wedding couple and framed.

A bit simple, But I thought it kept with the original feel.

Lighten and clarify
Edited by:pompey Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor/Gold Note Writer [C: 406 W: 156 N: 601] (8415)

Adjusted brightness and contrast.
Used picture tube tool and then some cloning to carry on the passage a little further.
Reapeatedly ran through the clarify tool to get this effect.
Created a frame and resized.
All with Paintshop Pro 8.
Hope that you find this useful.

Long recolorising

B&W!? Well i try the opposite... Add colors... like that for fun...
There is no miracle way to do... Patience is the key! A lot of selection and conversion of colors after i turn it back in RGB mode.
I know it's not perfect... To make it like a photo i would need at least one hour if it's not 2... Te retouch small and very small details...
But that fantasy is not bad.
Hope you like it!

Curves/levels/noise/....
Edited by:drymd29 Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor/Gold Note Writer [C: 1447 W: 248 N: 654] (7621)

A first quicky:
More light with curves and levels.
Changed from greyscale to RGB
Changed hue/saturation with 'fill colour'
Overexposed spots filled with noise and colour
Cropped the top and set upright
