Above the gorge of the North Esk River The surrounding countryside is rolling paddocks (fields). A lone roll of hay sits under the pine trees as testament to the dry winter. Many farmers in Tasmania have been handfeeding their stock as they are in many areas on the mainland. Here at Corra Lynn some green grass is showing dues to meagre late winter rainfalls.

The trees are all leaning due to the prevailing winds.
