Let There be Light! (12)

This is the view in my backyard at sunrise in October. This happened the day after my birthday and my son saw it first from his room which faces the South. My son came running up to my room all excited about the light and made me grab my camera to take shots. This is just one of many that I took. Just picture it...a 42 year old woman in her nightgown and slippers romping around in the backyard taking pictures of a glorious view. ha! ha!

What I love about this view on the mountain is that it changes so quickly like a super model posing for the camera. Every shot I took was amazingly different than the last. At the top of the photo you will see blue sky. This is not a normal site where I live in the last days of Fall. It is very gray and wet as Fall turns to Winter. This is why all the excitement from my son....It is a site to see the sun at this time of year.

Take Care!

Just an idea

I'm sure this is not what you saw that morning, but its just a little fun with your photo.

I first created a levels adjustment layer. Set the black point and moved the mid tome slider more to the right. This made the photo darker.
Then I created a curves adjustment layer and added more contrast. I aslo adjust the cruve for red and yellow, to give the light a warmer touch.
My last adjustment layer was for saturation. I saturated the red and yellow colors and desaturted the rest of the spectrum.

I hope you like this idea of your photo.
