Back to the archives today for an old favourite:
My daughter and her veterinarian husband are enormously fond of animals and Peter was the first of their many additions to their tiny household.
Peter (who was missing one back leg long before he joined the menagerie) is a gentle cat and has tolerated the addition of two more cats and two big dogs.
PP: no cropping, just a bit of brightness added

I posted the "original" from another computer where I felt my initial picture was too dark. This is the first picture before I added brightness. Which do YOU prefer?

PS and Digital film tools

Cleared the yellow spot above.
Applied 55mm Light Balancing filter( Digital film tools).
Created an "eyes" layer with pen tool and adjusted saturation and colof balance.
Created a background copy layer and applied 55mm color bleach bypass filter.
Created another copy layer and applied High Pass filter - 3.0 High Light layer.
