As the European 17th and 18th century settlers in America moved west, the result would be a disaster for many. This rebuilt fort is one of the early victories that settlers established in regard to secure both the purchase and theft of Indian lands at various times in the America's histories. This time was one of the times that the settlers of the Tennessee valley area had to take because of being attacked by overwhelming (American) Indian forces. I shot various scenes in daylight of the fort but wanted to make this a 'nightshot' with the light of full moon to guide the Indians in a night attack. Hope you enjoy the 'artsy' effect. I wanted you to just barely make it out, like the eye does in moonlight.

This was the administration building of the fort, I believe.

PP-applied sepia filter, saved, recut to gray the sky area, used brightness/contrast to further adjust the tones, sharpened up.

I have the original in workshop if you want to compare. I also had done an 8 point conversion but the mechanics of it were limited so didn't keep it.

This is the original, nothing but sizing.
