Grass Roof in Switzerland (69)

Anyone up for some golf on the roof?
This Swiss Home in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland was one of the few chalets we spotted along our walk in the valley which was comprised of a green grass roof. Bright geraniums in window boxes are abundant in each mountain and city home alike.
If anyone can tell me of a good reason to grow grass on your roof-please let me know :)

Just completed the end of the roof over the border. Moved up the house a bit by working with the frame. Sharpened.

Do not get me wrong , I like it a lot . Just proposing a few changes for fun.
