 Oregon Coast (34) riverfriends
(6972) | This is the Most Beautiful Oregon Coast. I had been shooting some bath & salt scrubs and so on for a company and I had brought the products to the ocean with the idea that we will throw them in the waves (not loose them:) and photograph them. It was very tiresome, and finally by the evening I was extremely tired. So I just walked on the beach aimlessly...
and then suddenly I saw this site...it was peaceful and calm...
It was suddenly very refreshing...the smell of salt in the air...the breez...and I stood there for a long time...
and then, I took this one capture and slowly packed my things...I never knew until next week that I had captured this beautiful image:)
Thanks for listening to my thoughts & sharing this moment with me!
Note: The tonal range is left subdued on purpose to leave the original natural misty look, presented exactly as it came out from the camera, sized for TL. |

(6972) Using Healing Brush Tool Edited by:riverfriends
(6972) |
Remove spots, imperfection, blemishes & other undesirable things:
Use the Spot Healing Brush tool:
Functionality: Do either one click or multiple clicks; or click-hold and drag in an area to remove imperfections.
From the toolbox select the Spot Healing Brush tool. [Other available tools - Healing Brush tool, Patch tool, and/or Red Eye tool.]
In the options enter a brush size. Your work area determines the size. For instance, for a one click job you may have to use a larger size.
Note: You may choose a blending mode from the Mode menu in the option bar. Choose a Type option in the options bar:
Adobe uses "Proximity Match", which takes the pixels at the edge of the selection ...and so on.
'Create Texture' uses all the pixels in the selection to create a texture with which to fix the area. You may have to drag through the area several times.
You may also select All Layers in the option bar to sample data from all visible layers; Or select only one Active Layer to sample from.
Click/Drag one or a larger area you want to fix.
NOTE: In the original image the forefront sand area has some dog footprints and other blemishes. With the above mentioned technique, with Healing Brush tool, it has been removed. THIS IS ONLY FOR DEMO, and reflects corrections to the original posting. Thanks! |
