![Silver Star Critiquer/Silver Note Writer [C: 15 W: 2 N: 10]](http://i1.treklens.com/misc/s-n-s.gif) (86) | This is a T-45 Goshawk which is used by the US Navy as a jet trainer. It's based on the British BAE Hawk, but the US Navy version is fully capable of landing on aircraft carriers. I took this at the 2005 Joint Services Open House Airshow at Andrews AFB in Maryland.
As a workshop I have uploaded a profile shot of the plane so you can see the tailhook. Which is vital for carrier landings.
