I saw this leaf that had been burried in snow all winter and as the snow had melted so much it was reveled. Since it was a maple leaf it reminded me of a typical Canadian scene.
I decided to copy and paste some of it's centre to create the "banners" on the sides and make the photograph resemble the Canadian flag.

Well! As we can say... For one time i will do one thing for my country lol!
Play with the contrast, the light and the Hue to conserv and the texture and some most near colors...
So as the hymn start... Stand up please! :)

I used a combincation of the patch tool and the healing brush to lessen the edges on each leafy border. I then applied a bit more sharpening.

Great image to begin with though.
