Battleship Texas

The USS Texas was commissioned on March 12, 1914. At the time she was the most powerful weapon in the world. In 1916 she was the 1st US Battleship to have anti-aircraft guns mounted. In 1919 she was the 1st US Battleship to launch an aircraft from her deck. In 1939 she had the first radar in the US Navy installed. In 1940 she was designated as the Flagship to the US Atlantic Fleet. Early in 1941 the First Marine Division was formed aboard her. On April 21, 1948 she was decommissioned. She is now a National Historic Landmark.

Excellent shot and composed well. I did just enhance the color to strengthen the image.
