Brrr!! So I dug around and found this photo I took of my family earlier this winter. My Son, daughter and my husband, all three of them seeing this makes me miss them all!! :o)
Anyhow we were playing a game of parchessi on a game table I built and decorated for my daughter for Christmas. ( Will be building one for my son this year!)
The table is a chess/checker board, cribbage and parchessi game built into one. After building it I drew on the design, then used a wood burning tool to etch in the images, then used acrylic artist paints and finally used a protected urathane all over to protect it. The work shop will show just the table, unfortunatly the sun was shinning in the house alot that day and I got a big glare...wish the sun was shining now though!!! |
