Once again, this issue. On my LCD screen at home, the original post looks fine. On my dark, old (bad) CRT in the office, it looks better with this additional contrast and sharpening. (But on the LCD, this version looks too sharp and too contrasty, losing its subtlety.) What can you do? It's quite an imperfect medium at this point in time.
