An old car parked up for the tourists in Seligman on route 66.
They dont make em like that anymore!!!

PP resized, converted to b&w then toned using variations in photoshop, and resharpened.

B/W conversion
Edited by:Dpbours Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor [C: 390 W: 57 N: 68] (2)

I like sepia, but quite often it becomes too soft. I then like to use the quadtone conversion.

In this case in Photoshop I:
- First increase in highlights 20%, darker shades;
- Did a black and white conversion, but turned the red channel back to give it overall more contrast in the B/W;
- Then went to the Duotone menu, loaded a quadtone profile I liked and afterwards I converted it back to RGB, since quadtones do not work in JPG.
I added a white frame, because I felt the black one draws too much attention away from the car.

Hope you like it!
